If the snow is gone and the flowers take over, the slopes are turned into downhill and cross country trails. There are more ramps built on and aside these trails, to make it, if desired,even more challenging. But exploring the quiet nature is also an option. In Les Deux Alpes for both variations you can rent or buy your materail. Many trails go over rocks, protection is recommended!

Every year in June, lasting three days, the freeride mountain bike race Mountain of Hell is held. The competition begins on the glacier at 3400 meters and ends in Venosc at 900 meters. With a height difference of more than 2500 meters over 25 km.
